My Blog

I have created this blog to record all the stages of my AS Media Foundation Production.

This is also one of the magazines that i like because of the layout and used of colours. The masthead is in serif font and big bold letters, it is written in blue which links to the jeans and it takes a quarter part of the cover page. The title is not in capital and the shape of it suits the phrase ''in tune'' because it gives me the impression of a melody. The slogan is shown on top of the title which talks directly targeting the suitable young audiences. There are five different colours which are blue, white, black, yellow and orange. The orange links to the shirt and white is used as texts which are big, in capital letters, sans serif font and with stroke. There is only one image which suggests that the magazine concentrates on the band on the cover and there are more texts than images in this magazine. It is a long shot of the band and their subjective gaze catch the target audiences. The mood of the image is serious, it is a professional picture and they look cool in the photograph. There is a barcode at the bottom right corner with a price $4.99 ( it is an American magazine). The formal language is used as the coverlines and they look tidy which means the magazine contains professional articles inside. The big coverline where it says ''THE ZAC BROWN BAND'' is in big sans serif font and it is written with stroke considered that white does not appears very clear on the page and there is the same situation with yellow texts. There is a promise written in yellow because yellow is a sharp colour to attract audiences' eyes. The layout of the texts is wrapping around the band who is placed at the middle of the cover.
